Hand-painted in 2022 on Procreate, “Milk Bones + Ashes” is a piece from Ugonna Ikechi’s third solo exhibition In Translation. This painting is inspired by the 2014 song of the same name by M.I.BLUE. The Artist uses a monochromatic colour palette to evoke a fragile & intimate moment of self-reflection, indicating a somber mental state of the subject.
