Hand-painted in 2022 on Procreate, “Satisfy My Soul” is a piece from Ugonna Ikechi’s third solo exhibition In Translation. This painting is inspired by the 1978 song of the same name by Bob Marley & The Wailers. The Artist invites the viewer in on an intimate moment of rest between partners, thereby evoking a feeling of serenity & satisfaction brought about by love & companionship.
