IN TRANSLATION: Art to Art

I would not be here without art. 

It impacts every part of my life — it gives me a sense of agency, keeps me company, teaches me and answers the big questions. I’m enthralled not only by those who make the work, but also art’s utility and the effect it has on artists + audiences.

This body of work is a visual album that aims to show the eternal dialogue between art forms, through carefully created + curated visual translations of other pieces of art — primarily music and poetry. 

They say a picture’s worth a thousand words, and I aim to explore ways to represent themes in my art that bring near-literal truth to that statement.
